U.S. Online Job Recruitment Rises For Third Month
(RTTNews.com) - Online job recruitment in the U.S. rose for a third straight month in June, a report from Monster Worldwide Inc. showed Friday.
The Monster Employment index rose 4 percent month-on-month to 153 in June from 147 in May. Annually, the index rose 5 percent.
Transportation and warehousing remained the top growth sector during the month, while retail trade regained momentum.
The Monster Index is a monthly gauge of U.S. online job posting activity based on a real-time review of employer job opportunities picked from a large representative selection of online job listings.
